Our nursing team offer a wide variety of services such bloods, ECG, dressings, ear irrigation, smears, contraception and vaccinations. When you call you will be asked why you are making an appointment so we can book you in with someone who has the necessary skill set and we can allocate the correct time for the appointment.
Our practice nurses Marie and Julie are skilled in the management of chronic diseases including Asthma, COPD (a form of chronic lung disease), Diabetes, Epilepsy, Heart Disease and Hypertension (high blood pressure).
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Heather, our new practice manager is responsible for managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Heather Joined our practice on 02.11.2015 and has 11 years years practice management experience in Glasgow.
Julie is the Office manager and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our administration and reception departments.
